Richard didn't know what was in store for him when his beautiful and seemingly normal wife started to exhibit strange behavior. She swore she could read his emotions, know what he was thinking. One night, she accuses him of infidelity, claiming she had read his emotions and knew he felt guilty. Then, she assumed something else he felt too, something she thought he wanted her to do... had she really read his mind? Did he really want her to... well, read her story to find out.

I was a little disappointed because based on the other reviews, I was expecting so much more. The style was unique in that it was written in the form of a character who is writing her story for...well, I don't want to spoil that because the idea of the story was so good. After the first couple of paragraphs, I expected Ms. Devon to have us see things through Andrea's eyes, in the moment, to describe what was happening to the characters. In my opinion, book ending it with the style she chose to use would have been a great way to give us, the readers, the best of both worlds. I also found the twist of what Andrea learned about her husband to be cliche; Ms. Devon definitely could have gone a different direction with that part of the story.Product details

Empath edition by Michelle Devon Farah Evers Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
I can sense that you wanted me to say something related to my thoughts of the story but I have nothing to say. I speechless. Great story. I thought it was a self help book..lol
I'm an empath myself, recently discovered, and this book made me understand a lot of things from my pass, and opened my eyes and mind to the future. I love this book!!!. Reading about the author made me cry, because I was having mix feelings, happiness and sadness which probably is what she was feeling.
very very short read. poorly written. needs some major editing and proof-reading.
This book is a fictional tale about an empath who is obviously out of her mind. I think the idea of being an empath is already out there amongst psychics and other various kooks but this tale did not seem plausible to me.
Not what I wanted
Oh for crying out loud, how many times are you going to write the phrase "I am an empath....afterall I am an empath....I'm an empath...empath....empath." We get the picture, the character is an empath. I rated this 2 stars because of all the redundancies. Story was barely ok. But author needs to perform more research on empaths and empathic abilities.
In my opinion, the story was not well written, and quite repetitive. Being an empath myself, and continuously reading over and over and over again, Well, I am an empath. Drives any empath through the wall. Realizing this a fictional read, still was not impressed.
